Armada had the deepest plot of any TF series to date.

BW was like G1..just an adventure series, but Armada's overall plot had actual meaning to it..it advanced like a final fantasy game and ended as an amazing CHILD FANTASY, just as it was intended to be. I'm sorry that all of you have lost your youth and require everything to conform to your strict watery adult standards, but you need to realize that we aren't children anymore...I like Transformers because its for kids...anyone who disagrees simply shouldnt.

Armada/Energon is my favorite Transformers series. I don't care much for RID. G1 maybe the original but not the best.

Generation 1 - the Original....the classic, still had its MAJOR screw ups and way to many characters that some only made 1 apearance

Beast Wars - the KING of all Transformer series EVER! i honestly have nothing bad to say about this series...Great Heroes, Great Villians, Great story, Great humour, Great EVERYTHING!

Beast Machines - Revolutionary...diffrent from anything else we had ever seen before...some thought it was to out there...but not me ;)

RiD- the first series i could not sit through...HORRIBLE charcters, HORRIBLE voices, just plain HORRIBLE!

Armada - Not as bad series wise as RiD but the constant screw ups and the horrible story ruined it

Energon - they have learned from Armada's mistakes....still no where near as good as BW though...

Armada had the deepest plot of any TF series to date.

So what did you put as the "Worst TF cartoon"?

Come on your asking that to BC? :P

Come on your asking that to BC? :P

Hehehe...yep! I just want to hear him say it! No, really, G1 would have been so much better if it hadn't been a "toy parade". I think that's why BW was better developed. Armada was just too watered down plot wise to hold my interest. I really wanted to enjoy it but my brain kept getting in the way.

Armada. Nothing necessarily wrong with it I just liked the other series more. Energon is awesome though

yes i like enjoy 1984 transformres generation one 1986 transformers of the movie.... 1986 transformers headmasters...

2000 Robots in Disguise

2002 Armada

2004 Energon

That'd be Armada. They had like what, 3 voice actors to do everyone? No characterization whatsoever, the minicons couldnt even talk just R2D2 gibberish, and those damn dirty kids! I mean, the show was 30 minutes and 25 minutes was just those kids running around. AAARRRGGHHH!!!!

Starscream, Megatron/Galvatron, Cyclonus, Hot Shot, Wheeljack, Thrust, Jetfire, Demolishor, Blurr, Scavenger, Smokescreen/Hoist, Sideways/Unicron.

ALL received plenty of characterization, many of which are some of _the_ greatest TF characters of all-time. Furthermore, if the characters from Armada were so weak and bland, why is it that many of them have returned for another 52 episode series? Sorry, but it doesn't add up.

And as for the worst TF cartoon? Duh. G2. Bemoan veggie Cybertron, annoying kids, and old beta animation all you want, but nothing trumps defiling the G1 cartoon with the spacecube. What a horrible, horrible idea. And the horrendously miscolored toys didn't help either.

Ok, you got a real good point on G2, but I just consider that to be G1. But as to the characters in Armada, outside of Sideways and Wheeljack (Ive forgotten about those guys) I just wasnt feeling any of them. If any of them would have bought it, (Smokescreen almost did) I just wouldnt have cared. Whereas I was mega relieved in TFTM when Jazz and Blaster survived as well as Hound Sunstreaker and Sideswipe, speculatory as that is. When I saw Wheeljack laying there dead, that hurt something. Maybe even worse than Prime dying, because I at least saw that coming.

II dont consider myself a die-hard G1 fan by any means, Im a fan of a lot of the characters because I grew up with them and identified with a good many of them. Armada couldnt do it because of weak writing, and BW could NEVER do it because I simply cant accept those mutated looking robots turning into animals as 'real' transformers.

Oh and maybe its personal bias, maybe its not being able to let go of the original version, but theres NO WAY that cackling buffoon in Armada can possibly stack up against the original Cyclonus. To me, he was one of the more fully developed characters in G1, and you really learned a thing or two about him along the way.
