How come I'm not surprised? I lasted one post yesterday on TFW. I really wish I could afford to attend the next Botcon to meet them in person. Just to see how they would justify their actions. Because in person, ban to avoid discussion/confrontation/explaining yourself isn't an option.

 

Btw, where do you find the time to paint all those figures? :)

I don't know that I have a lot of time to do them.. I don't do any for myself actually..Just commission work, and, while it takes awhile to get them going, once I start them, I get them done pretty quick..But I'm patient enough to make sure to give enough time for each layer of paint to dry before I handle them..So, while I can paint them quickly, it's the entire process that can take time.

I got flamed mercilessly by about 12 members for stating an opinion that the toys I grew up with were better quality than the ones they make now. I reported each and every one of them, after every name I was called, after every insult, and I didn't even get a courtesy "we'll check on it" PM.

 

If that board was a building, I woulda set it on fire. With everyone locked inside... :tdown

 

What baffles me is that TFW & the Wizard Universe boards let a large group of little tools flame & troll, but decent board members are penalized. Can't tell you how many times I've gotten a "warning" for reporting someone flaming me at the Wizard boards. Not defending myself in the public forum; privately complaining to a mod - warned for flame-baiting.
