Ouch....yeah that thick paint is killing it. I had some problems with mine too, just getting the right shade was a Starscream. I mixed up my own custom shade and i think it looks awesome now. Originally the whole thing just looked like a creamy yellow. It was a nice yellow but not for sunstorm.

You also forgot to add the darker orange accents to his chest and waist areas, this way all the orange just eats those details away as well as the thick paint.

Sorry it didnt turn out well for you. I hope you can fix it.

Yeah, I just didn't want to add anymore paint to it. I have a testors shade for the dark areas..As well as some yellow to go..But I just want to start over on him etc..so,

This is my idea for Wheelie..I chopped the horns off, and will start him up later this week.

I agree with Sonray, the thick paint is killing Sunstorm. Otherwise, it'd be a badass figure. :)

Other than that, the other three (Powerglide, Gears, and Warpath) all look badass! :thumb

Edit: On second glance, that Gears looks VERY kickass. I would never have thought that you would be able to get a good "Gears" look from the Strongarm mold! :clap :yay :thumb

Yeah, thankfully he's got a 2nd Starscream and will let me try #2 on it..This time I won't go for that 2nd paint layer..

I didn't want to, remember, the original color I used was more of a peach than orange, and people suggested that I use it as a base coat, well..To much.

Those are looking almost official. :clap

Thanks ya:)

I bought his swag, and his swag was good. Bueno, even.

I like that concept for Wheelie--wondering why I missed that before.

You've got an impressive lot of kitbashes and customs. All of it very good work. :)

Sami, fo'gettabout that sunstorm. better yet, there is a silver lining here. now you have a toy you can totally take apart and not feel bad about. accept your first total kitbash! it is your density.

Also, you can only update that wheelie as long as photos are accompanied with silly rhymes. here's one you can use. "I custom paint cuz hasbro caint"

cheers sami ;)
