Whats the shade of paint called on your sunstorm?

Not really much help to me since they dont sell it in this country. I was wondering if it was a particular shade of orange or something? It doesnt look like regular orange to me. I thought it might have had some fancy name or something.

That orange looks spot on to me for Sunstorm. Very cool looking, can't wait to see the finished pics! :thumb

There should be a tiny white sticker near the upc code on the can. They call their orange, Pumpkin (safety) orange. Meant to ask earlier if they had more than one orange? I've only used the can I have on a face so far, but it seemed a bt deeper than your's turned out. First can you used might have gotten its cap swapped at some point?

 

Also saw that Krylon.com list all their colours, but it looks like the colour samples aren't accurate ( at least on my monitor). When I was looking at river rock, almond and khaki in person, all their cap colours were near Identical.

 

Anyways, the repaints are your usual excellent work. That orange does work really well for sunstorm too.

Sunstorm looks great! Im working on a sunstorm commission currently so i was wondering if you could tell me what his official color scheme is? Is it how you have painted yours, or did you add your own custom touches? I dont know anything about the character you see and info on him and pics of the original toy are very scarce.

Ok, well, most are done..Although I just don't like Sunstorm. I want to totally redo him. They still need their stickers and decals applied, but..Here you go. Gears, Warpath, Powerglide and Sunstorm.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The thing that bothers me the most on him is that for the first time, I had to go with multiple layers of paint. Which got thick. Which in turn hides the details on his mold. The only savings grace may be, if I get to do him over again, as I hope I can, is that I didn't use the "bonds to plastic" type Krylon, as they didn't make the colors I needed for him in it, but just used the regular all purpose Krlyon..So. my hopes are that the paint will come off easy enough with some remover and I can have another go at him. We shall see.
