but to be honest if this is anything like thier past exclusives(ie star wars-for weeks exclusives would sit on pegs)

Yeah, I wouldn't be worried. Target tends to stock their exclusives very well. I have never seen one that was hard to find.

 

That SS figure would rule if they simply used a repainted version of the standard movie SS head. That movie/G1 mesh of a head design doesn't work, IMO.

The head itself is pretty good. Perhaps a little more paint detail would look good but the mouth is the thing that gets me. He's gotta mean looking bottom jaw with sharp chompers but it looks like his upper jaw was ripped out.

 

I want to know who looks at that and says "looks great!" and signs off on it. My first question would have been "where's the rest of his mouth?"

No offense...but didn't you just say a few posts ago that you order 15 of these things? Maybe I read that wrong, but how does that make you any better than the scalper who posted up the auction?

 

15 of what? I pre-ordered 15 Bumblebee Evolution of a Hero 2-pack from Target. Here's my breakdown:

 

2 for me, 1 to open the other to display

1 for the girlfriend

5 for my brothers

7 will be up for trade for other figures.

 

I also mentioned that if I couldn't trade the remaining 2-packs, I would sell them in this forum at retail price + the cost of shipping. I'd be more than happy to sell you one if you are unfortunate enough not to get one, now does that make me "better?" :clap

I don't need one. I've got both Concept and Vintage Bumblebees (one of each, and my wife can sit all day and transform them to her heart's content, since she is my mate and we share our possessions), so I don't need to hoard a plethora of them for any reason.

I want that Starscream!!

I went to Target today and had them pull up the DCPI. They told me that they had 16 of Starscream and 16 of Jazz. They even sent someone to go to the stockroom to make sure they are physically there and they were. After all that... I came home empty handed. Now there is an 8x10 poster on the Transformers section that states "These items are collectible items. It is against our policy to have customers ask employees to pull them from the stock room. Every customer will have an equal opportunity to purchase these items. Please check back regularly." WTF?!?! When the hell did this crap start? I didn't know they could do this...there could be two Starscream and Jazz repaints on my shelf, but now its just empty space. If anyone wants to check it out the Eagle Rock Target on Colorado Blvd. in So. California has this memo posted. :tfmad

Actually a friend sent me his Classics SS for free a few days ago. He didn't like it that much and I gladly took it off of his hands. I plan to kitbash it into an original seeker.

 

But, if you didn't know, Wal-Mart and TRU are putting out what they have in stock....including Classics, Cybertrons and Movie toys.
