Repaint Jazz DCPI is 087-06-0826 (target)

I just searched Target.com for that number and came up w/ a TMNT Tower Vortex or some damn thing:

Click the "Additional Info" tab on the description and you'll see the number. Ideas?

Has anyone seen any bumblebee 2paks at walmart yet?

Has anyone seen any bumblebee 2paks at walmart yet?

Unless I'm mistaken, the Bumblebee 2-pack is another Target exclusive.

The only upcoming Walmart exclusive that I know offhand is the Optimus Prime/Megatron Robot Replica two-pack.

08 BB? Go to Kohl's, that's where I got mine. Unlikely but for real!

I just picked up an '08 Bumblebee (last one) at Kohl's as well! They also had Dreadwing and Arcee, which I had never seen anywhere else in the area, plus most of the other Deluxes. Nobody shops for Transformers at Kohl's.

I'm not going to Kohl's. It's a clothing store, so I wouldn't know where they put toys in a clothing store. Those department type stores have a weird layout, not very user friendly.

'76/'08 BB 2-pack is a Target exclusive, so that has to come out some time. Which has lead me to believe that I just need to wait til the second half of the movie toys resurface, probably when the movie comes out on DVD or something.

I can also report Kohls put out one case of the new deluxe. This one is in Mechanicsburg, PA on the Carlisle Pike. Picked up Bumblebee (some kid wanted one, but his mother made him put it back "I told you no toys today." I almost told her about how hard they are to find, but didn't want to risk her wraith. There was still an Arce and Dreadwing on the peg when I left.

I bet, even in this day and age, that BW Transquito would sell like hotcakes.

The only thing I can figure is that we've angered the TF Toy Gods, and this is how they are exacting their revenge.

You've got several things to consider here.

First, this is usually a rather dead time of year for toys. Everything is in back-to-school mode and that's parents main focus at this point.

Second, all the major toy retailers have just gone through new resets. They usually will slow down restocking for several weeks leading up to that, but we're mostly well past that now.

Third, the figs sold A LOT faster than anyone could have predicted they would. Hell even those we considered the peg warmers moved well by other lines standards. Everyone was caught with their pants down and Hasbro is having problems keeping up with the huge demand.

It's not Hasbro's fault really. If you consider that they can only go off market research and sales figs from past lines as I'm sure retailers do when placing their orders. Hasbro probably produced enough to fill the initial orders and what they figured to be a "safe" amount to keep in reserve for re-orders, which was probably well above what they would normally do. That's all they really could do.

There was a lot of mixed reactions to the movie stuff from retailers and I think most of them just wanted to play it safe. Well, in return for playing it safe they now get half empty aisles for weeks on end for their trouble.

The '08 BB wave (wave 3 I think it is) was probably rushed out before a full production run was finished so that's probably why their sightings have been so few and far between.

Also keep in mind that everyone is probably already starting to stockpile toys in their warehouses for the upcoming holiday season. It could simply be waiting for all that to be sorted out.

I don't think there's any one reason for the hold up. It's so many different things combined.
