Is another wave of the original deluxe and voyager class coming out soon?

I absolutely do not know, but there's got to be another shipment later down the road, right? I mean, Remy's got all the deluxe toys, but there's nothing showing up in this area yet besides the voyager Prime and Megs.

I've heard that some are saying the next wave is slowly trickly in, so 2-4 more weeks.

I've also heard that Hasbro isn't making as many due to other failing movie toy lines, but Transformers merchandise has sold relatively well for a cartoon show, so why would it be different if it was a movie line?

Also around end of August, beginning of September, is usually when new toys start showing up I think.

I guess I'll check when I hear more reports of new toys.

Well the local targets have little "Gray" dots on the empty slots. I think, if I can remember from back in college when I worked there, that means that they are on order and the store is waiting for them to come in. These were mostly on the deluxe pegs. OH and there was a date on each dot. 10/8. So I'm wondering if that means they don't expect them untill october 8th?! That would kinda suck. That would put it at 6+ weeks till we see a new batch of figs!

 

Granted I've got all the original movie figs and have no desire for anything untill the new classics and animated figs come out. I'm just focsing on my Ebay purchases of older figures. Got a slightly better than near mint G1 Divebomb, 100% complete, for $40 bucks last week!! I always wanted Predaking and never got him so I've started to piece him together. Found a G1 Silverbolt in an antique store today too for $19.50!

Target is so f'ckd up its not funny. Get the correct DCPI number for each figure give it to them and they should have some in the back. If you let them scan that little bar code on the peg you'll get nada.

 

Thanks to AA for this tip, which turned up multiple locations for G1 repaint Starscream at Target when their tag said otherwise.

I was told at Target that, yes, the gray dots mean an order is forthcoming. All I need is Dropkick, I already have love. :tftongue

Repaint Jazz DCPI is 087-06-0826 (target)

It's not that the tags are wrong (they are correct for the Deluxes and Voyagers), however the Target exclusives are under their own DCPI as they come in their own cases (Startscream (087-06-0006) is 3 or 4 per case and Jazz (087-06-0826) is 6 per case) and Target hasn't put a special spot with their own tag for them. Pickings are slim though.
