Oh, good. Here I was thinking that the movies characerization was as deep as a Leprechaun kiddie pool, when all the time the real meat of the script was right in front of me in the refridgerated snack section. I foolishly looked for answers in Hours of humans telling Donut and Jerk off Jokes and all the time the answers lay between vacuum compressed ham and cheese food, waiting to integrate seemlesly into my cinematic experience.

It is fun to speculate - but there was lots missing in the TF movie.

You get really uptight over the notion of somebody changing your mind about something, and yet you seem to expect that you will do the same to others. But if that isn't your intent, then what's the point at all? We already know what each other thinks, so if there's not going to be any thoughtful discussion (which involves evaluating your own opinions), then it's not a discussion at all. Just a "hey cool, I can say whatever I want on the internet" fest. Which is pointless IMO.

 

The thing is, I actually am more flexible and open-minded than you might think, but you push back SO hard with your opinions that you really don't leave any middle ground open. It's all negativity and criticism and sarcastic comments and attempts to score debate points. Why should I be interested in talking about anything with someone like that?

BB wasn't the only one with no lines, and when Prime showed up he just said "We need the glasses because..." anyway.

 

Well, eventually some pipe has got to be laid*.

 

Ratchet could have just fixed him right then, but no.

 

And I do think he should've fixed BB then and there, but I also think they made the right choice in impairing BB's voice up to that point. Watching Sam puzzle over the giant robots is one of my favorite aspects of the movie.
