Jazz's Death - I don't get this

Recommended Posts

I wasn't talking about any rules of transformers, and discussing it only "matters" insofar as we are having a TF discussion in a TF discussion board. I don't know if Scorpinock will be back in the next movie or not, but they didn't kill him in this one. Personally I think they weren't sure what to do there so they just let him escape and forgot about him, hoping the audience would too.

:roll Perhaps the part where he was shot to sh*t by an AC-130 gunship was missed

I took "burrowing away" as sort of burying himself.

It's not so important that I care about discussing it anymore

But feel free to continue to say words

After your spectacular "burying himself" theory. I don't think further words are necessary. :tflaugh

Well I'd think it would be just as easy to show him exploding...

But what I mean is not "stop discussing TFs on a TF board", but just recognize that you're ultimately arguing over something without an answer. An argument is designed to prove one point of view right and/or another wrong. All this is is "I think he died" / "well I think he didn't". Both of you saw the same movie; neither of you have any additional information beyond that. You're arguing over your own subjective interpretations of a particular scene. And that's pretty pointless to me, regardless of whether or not it's about Transformers.

Blowing up, Falling over=Probably dead.

Leaving under your own power with no further screentime= escaped.

Not rocket science.

Yes, blowing him up would be just as easy, so would him falling over, but they did neither. Maybe at one time he was in a later scene, maybe he'll be in the next movie. That we cannot say. However they chose to show us his escape, what ever the reason. Why would he bury himself a foot under ground. Didn't want to leave a mess?

I don't really have an opinion on Scorponok's final scene other than "I bet they're leaving the door open for a sequel appearance". You never know, they probably won't use Scorponok again, but it's nice that the writers have that option.

Its obvious that they wanted it to be ambiguous!

If the writers see fit to use him in a sequel they'll say he escaped. If not, he limped off and died. End of discussion.

IBL!!!

Nice Guy Eddie finds this whole discussion very amusing , and now has to go back to more important things.
