Leader Class????

Recommended Posts

So i have seen Optimus and Megatron in stores for leader class. I just saw Brawl leader class. Does anyone know if they are gonna make everyone in leader class. Those are the ones I would hope to get. They seem to have good detail on them?

Thanks

I also saw posted somewhere else a set of Optimus and 2008 bumble bee was supposed to be for sale. Anyone know where to find that?

Did you see Brawl leader class in stores, or online?

And the answer to your question is no, other than the nightwatch optimus prime (repaint)

I have only seen Brawl online so far.

Man I was really hoping for all the Transformers that where actually in the movie to be leader class.

lol, no way that'd ever happen. hasbro would take such a loss on that.

Why would they take a loss??

Id buy all of them and I am sure everyone else would..Why did they make Brawl a leader class. I think Barricade, bumble bee would have been a much better candidate for that

well, it's a proven fact that deluxes are the best selling class from previous tf lines. leader class doesn't sell anywhere near as well. we're VERY lucky to be getting a brawl, and most feel that it should have been blackout that got the leader class treatment, maybe with brawl being a voyager which would leave an open deluxe spot. i'd have been much more pleased with that, but i'm getting brawl anyway.

dunno bout you, but i still see metroplexes and gf primes at just about every store i go to. so, to recap, leader class doesn't sell too well. deluxes are the most popular. even if the leader class did sell as well, thats... 10 movie bots (not including frenzy and scorponok) they'd have to make to have made the whole cast. the amount of shelf warming that'd do would set stores on fire. not to mention the fact that they'd cost a bunch to engineer and it'd be pretty hard getting the stores to stock them all.

as for bb, well theres always ultimate bb, which JMO they'll already be taking a loss on (a $99 mfrp, Powerglide that, the deluxe is much more movie accurate!!), but thats beside the point.

i doubt very much that we'll see another leader class fig after shadow something or another prime. maybe a megs or brawl repaint, but thats it.

you gotta remember, it may seem like collectors like us are a huge market, but we're maybe %15 of the market. kids do love big figs, but mom and dad wouldn't shell out the $40 per character often enough to warrant the making of a leader class version of the movie cast. don't get me wrong, it'd be nice, but i know i couldn't afford it, and i doubt many parents would be willing to.

That's so true. I was at TRU this morning seeing if they had Concept BB, and this kid told him mom that he found the figure he wanted (Leader Megs) and his mother said no way. Too expensive. I felt bad and wanted to let her know that in a few weeks to nearly a month a figure of this same character will be coming out in a smaller size and at half the price. But I figured not to. Not that I want the Voyager Megs since I have the Leader Megs, but still...not my battle and didn't feel like butting in to either support the kid or the mother.

I think Blackout would have been a better candidate for the Leader treatment. I think that Bonecrusher and Brawl should have been Voyagers. And then Starscream and Prime should have been Ultra/Leader hybrids. Megatron and Blackout should have been leaders. Everybody else is fine where they're at size wise.

I'm planning on getting Brawl when he's available for purchase. What site did you see him on?

one can only wish :tfgrin yea blackout woulda been good to....oh well

I dont want that Ultimate BB since it transforms on its own

Ultimate Bumblebee doesn't transform on it's own.

It's upper body is mechanized, however, so it has some animated movement in robot mode.
