Regarding the problems with the movie

Recommended Posts

All I'm seeing at the moment are topics about plot holes and characters not being 100% true to g1, but aren't you all just glad that the film didn't suck?

It will be remembered as the must-see movie of summer 2007, but a lot of people are just whining about silly little things.

No offence meant to anybody, just my 2 pence worth - and just remember how bad the film could have been...

Well fanboys will go either one of two ways usually - either IT ROXXORS!! or IT SUXXORS!!

Very few times do you have a middle-of-the-road view on a fanbased movie like this from the fans themselves.

The only issue I would have with the movie as far as plot holes goes is Barricade final battle disappearance (but apparently he's there, I just missed him). I mean the TF's rocked my world and the Witwickys were gold - they rocked in every scene they were in.

it has nothing to do with G1 but the movie did draged a bit.

My problems are mostly structural. Shot Structure, Plot structure. This movie won't endure becuse it was put together badly.

My Fanboy needs were mostly met. Peter Cullen gave me shivers the whole movie, but that is pure fanboy. It doesn't excuse cheat shots or confusovision. I expected more humans than tfs, but they were so lame. Sam was ok, but those hackers were 35 min. of my life I will never get back.

I mean, how many of you won't just skip to the TF parts when you buy the DVD. Who would watch this whole clunker if they didn't have to?

The eyeglasses scene should have been cut shorter. Some stuff from the book should have been in the movie but then again, it would have gone on for 3 hours plus.

I can't wait to see it again :tfgrin

I liked the movie but that doesn't mean that it's perfect.

Plot hole discussion is not a bad thing. The bad thing about this movie is that it should have been about 20 minutes shorter than it was. That's the only real downside as some scenes were too long or probably shouldn't have even been in to begin with.

Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd I really don't care about any of that :P IT EFFIN ROX!!!! Focusing on the problems just takes the enjoyment away from the movie. DON'T BE A BUMBLEPEE!!!! :D

The movie was great, the only problem was all of Bonecrushers 5 min. that sucked.

I won't. Once the DVD comes out and I pick it up, I plan on whatching the whole thing many many times. :D
