Pretenders and ActionMasters are no 'line', they are a gimmick...

funny, and I never said anything about Pretenders...

 

Anyhoo, ActionMasters wasn't 'In Line'. It had a brand name, and a line name Transformers Action Masters.

 

They were kinda an alternative to the traditional transformers, which was the main line, and designed to get in on the action figure market.

i had that very action master :tflaugh

 

for me its g2 they had some pritty bad stuff but it had its gems cyber jets for instance

With the added options, it's pretty much Pretenders for me. Crappy brickformers with poor transformation and looking ridiculous in either mode in a bricky plastic shell.

The only Pretender that's remotely good is Bumblebee, and that only because his transformation is actually more complex than that of the minibot version. And still, his vehicle mode looks fugly. Even Goldbug is better.

The worst transformers line would have to be everything non g1. Then again g1 is the ONLY real transformers line anywayz. I'm pretty certain that the suits at Hasbro don't give a damn about us or else they wouldn't market crap like Energon and Universe. Even for a little kid's standards I would have to say the toys are still a disgrace. Please no more talks about Energon ever again. I'm better than Energon and IT'S REALLY becoming a Boooooooore.

Just to get on your nerves, Energon is 100x better than G1 ever was, IMO.

 

I vote Armada. Not because what was represented wasn't good, but that it let itself get in the way of its own potential. It fell seriously short of what it could have been.

You didn't back up anything. You just said Hasbro's suits were too stupid to know what people really want out of Transformers (yeah, like being the third bestselling toyline in North America - and that was the crapass Armada (!) - indicates that they know nothing of how to manage the brand), and that all Transformers besides G1 suck.

 

Well here's a news flash for you: most of G1 sucks. Seeker mold sucks (oh hey, I explode and get put back together. Great transformation! Oh, the detailing sucks too!), most are disproportionate bricks, are fragile as hell, and look nothing like their show counterparts (well technically, it's the other way around, but anyways...). How that is better than durable, show accurate, poseable, proportionate toys is beyond me...nostalgia is one thing, but spouting it as absolute fact is another thing entirely.

 

Maybe "ban" is too harsh, but I'm tired of people like you ranting how G1 is a godsend, and how everybody is out to get you for not making Transformers exactly like they were in '84, blah, blah, blah. If you don't argue coherently (which you didn't), you'll just be seen as a troll, and deserve to be booted out on your ass.

animorphs? wtf? just because hasbro made them does not mean they should be associated with transformers. any true tf line stomps on animorphs, worst childrens series ever. but, pretenders suck. the only jazz and grimlock figures i had as a young kid were pretenders, i hated them because they weren't like the "good" transformers at the time. :tfevil
