So I snuck a couple new movie TFs yesterday: Deluxe Bonecrusher and FAB Prime. I really want to recreate that awesome shot of BC and OP about to get it on (ok, eeww), and it seems like FAB OP is fairly close in scale, if distorted. Plus, God help me, the little guy spoke to me, it's a cute little TF. I shall call him Squishy, and he shall be mine, and he shall be my Squishy.

 

Anyway, real quick here: BC is really cool, great transform, great articulation w/ lots of joints. I, of course, modified him so that his head could look a little more straight ahead when you extend his neck forward, and I trimmed his hips so they wouldn't hit his codpiece in certain poses.

He's about the size I though he'd be, which is to say, roughly in scale with deluxe Brawl.

WHY COULDNT BONECRUSHER BE A VOYAGER?!

Since when have Transformers been about scale? I don't really remember much complaning in the past? But seeing that I'm very happy with these movie figures, I can forgive the fact he's not a voyager, leader, etc... :thumb

 

These are some fun toys, and I hope to pickup Bonecrusher soon - he's at Wallycron, but I have yet to spend more $$$ for figures.

yea I got my today for $7 at targets, I love him as odd as he seem. I do wish he was a voyager size after seeing the real size of the Buffulo (bigger then a Hummer)

I hope it doesn't sound like I'm complaining- I'm just a little obsessed with technical details like scale because I'm an engineer. I'm trying to separate the toys by scale so they display better in my own head. I know most people don't care. Just a geek's geek that way I guess. You're right tho, def. some fun toys- grat looks, detail, and playability (that a word?).

 

FWIW, yes, I thought Bonecrusher and Brawl also looked to be in pretty close scale to one another. After the 15th of the month I'll get Brawl so he and BC can chill out together... :tftongue

bonecrusher would be alot better if he where better balanced. i find him particularly hard to balance what with those gigantic arms and such
