Original TFTM Poster

Recommended Posts

Some people have never seen the Japanese movie poster for the animated movie. a friend of mine has the real thing. this is just a picture from my Generations book. I cant remember what text is on the real thing anyway I captured the movie in Adobe premier and exported 1 fps. then used the 6000 images to make this. well my girfriend made it. she wrote the code for this from scratch. its for a class this coming fall.

6000 images of what?

I captured the transformers movie. then had premiere export the frames. video is 29.97 frames per sec (fps). sort of like automating the screen capture function.

rather than export 30 fps for 84 mins which would be 151,200 frames at 720x480. I had it export one frame every second. so it is only 5040. sorry I guessitmated 6000.

from those 5040 images at 320x210 my girnfriend's program constructs the poster pixel by pixel and replacing it with the images. it averages the rgb value of the frames and matches the average to the actual pixel in the movie poster.

here is a close up of hot rod. you can see the images used. its all from the movie.
