I know I'm jumping the ion disruptor here, but, out of interest, has anyone heard any rumours about which characters could appear in the sequel? Assuming this film doesn't flop!

Well, the writers said that Soundwave and Shockwave could appear in the sequel, and that if Unicron were to ever appear, it would be in the third movie.

Too Early to Tell.

But I'd expect:

Soundwave & one of his minions

I.......want..............Cliffjumper!!! :P

But it will never happen :redface

CJ

:tfdance

Also - I hope these robots get in the sequel:

Autobots

Grimlock

Prowl

Sideswipe

Sunstreaker

Wheeljack

Decepticons

Soundwave

Laserbeak

Ravage

Shockwave

Thundercracker or Skywarp

Blitzwing

I smell hotrod... or at least hotshot.

Soundwave is on top of the 'most likely' list. Given the fact that we already have two Transformers now that have minions it is save to say he'll have them too (again, if he's in). I expect Ravage to be a minion, and I hope they'll put in Laserbeak as well.

Personally, I'm hoping they'll put in Tracks as a modern Corvette. Chevrolet is part of GM, so there is a very big chance that this actually will happen. Other then that I'm hoping for an Autobot that's not a car. Warpath seems the most likely there.

For the Decepticons I'm hoping they'll do a double whammy with Soundwave and Shockwave. I'm also hoping for the Constructicons, though they should keep them back until movie 3.

heres the list of bots we'll surely be seeing in the second movie

Optimus Prime, Starscream, Ironhide, Bumblebee, Ratchet

those are the bots that survive the first movie.

although i'm hoping for at least soundwave and galvatron

I'm with DM, all those you listed are musts for me. I wouldn't change that list nor add any. Them and the first movie cast is a winner. That's the really good thing for the makers of these movies, there are loadsa great characters to chose from.

I'd like to see Cybertron in the sequel. And a huge epic scale battle between legions of Autobots and Decepticons! Imagin that!

And Unicron? Oh that would be incredible! Seeing the big man on the big screen! Can you imagine?!!

No no no to Hotshot. Vintage, immortal characters only i think.

Because Blackout and Barricade were such fan favorites? I'm talking G1 or any other incarnation...
