Leader Optimus Prime

If the primary purpose of something is to get looked at, then okay it might be an issue. But if it's something you play with, I wouldn't care. Just have fun with it like you're supposed to.

Mines alright. :thumb

Awsome fig btw. :thumb

mine's on a shelf in a robo cop, gonna shoot you pose.

Why don't you just bring it back to the store where you purchased it from and exchange it? Just wave the receipt at the cashier and show them how there's a chip and the inconsistency with the red paint and ask for a product exchange.

As for his hip wheels, I also prefer letting them hang down as per the instructions. I don't think lifting them up makes him look that much better from the forward view, but more importantly, I think having them up makes Prime look bad from any side-on or rear view.

Any pics of him with the wheels up?

I think the reason why the leg kibble looks so huge is because Prime's robot mode isn't to scale with his truck mode. The movie gets a lot more robot out of the truck than this toy does. Look at the size of the wheels on the real thing:

We all already know that these toys will never 100% represent their on screen counter parts. And while voyager prime may be thinner in the legs and have somewhat of a more aesthetically movie prime look, there is no doubt which is the funner toy and more "Prime like" in my mind.

No argument there. I don't think a scaled-down transforming replica of the real movie Prime would be a very fun toy at all.
