What are you going to do as far as filling in the chest of the robot mode? It looks like the arms and the knees store up in there, leaving an empty cavity...

well, once the side windows are in place, you won't be able to see into him. this will help it asthetically, I think.

ok. the head has been chosen. excellion wins. I got this awesome stuff from dick blick today called Smoothon liquid plastic compound. so I only had to decapitate my excellion for a few hours while I made a mold of it. wings and shin covers are still in the works. well the the whole damn thing is still in the works. but it's coming along.

hello hello. thanks all for the kind words. I'm going to be out of commission for a few weeks preparing for an exhibition of my paintings, so I'm forbidding myself from working on any and all bashes.

Soap, here's an update of what I've got so far. The shins and wheels still need to be attached. Also there are a few surprises of what to expect in some other upcoming stuff and a rework of one of my oldies.

 

in answer to some questions the smoothon stuff works great, see sample of heads. as far as transformation, I put up a series of photos.

 

I'll be back in about a month.

ok spin his waist around so his legs are on backwards. fold the "hatch" part up to cover his head. lock legs together. fold wings in and straighten out those arms. fold arms into his body. pull shin plates out and fold legs in. turn shin plates back over the legs - of course the shin plates aren't attached yet put you get the point. hope this helps. and if you guys are really making your own, I hope you'll share what you got. :)

OMG That is one of the best Kitbashes I've ever seen. WOW freakin' sweet!!! Can't wait to see him with tires and completely finished.

 

On a side note do you do customs heads cuz I'd love to put a different head on Movie Jazz? Not a super G1 head but something like the movie one but with less of an underbite and more like you see him in the movie.

ALMOST DONE! here's a couple of pics in robot mode. some areas still drying. needs a couple of touch ups and I think I'm gonna call this done. I've also included some teasers of upcoming hoist and trailbreaker. alt mode and final robot pics will be up tomorrow night or the next.

for your trailbreaker you should sell the head to ppl who can put it on their movie ironhies

id buy one, though i havnt seen its face based off yer tracks its bound to be great!
