Movie bots with G1-esque paint jobs?? I can see the market appeal, but :puke

Uh, that looks freaking awsome.

 

Also with a new head that makes this a retool opposed to straight repaint.

 

Voyager TC has been on the voyager list for the longest time btw so the only surprise for me with this is Hasbro actually molded him a new head.

 

Will probably buy if not an exclusive. :thumb

You know I was starting to "accept" the movie head sculpts. But now seeing how cool this head sculpt would have been for SS in the movie, it makes me disapointed again with the current designs. I will definately pass on SS version and get Thundercracker instead.

They gave him a new head, that's always a plus when it comes to repaints :thumb Too bad he's not in the movie but then again, he's not really needed in the movie since Movie Blackout is huge instead of a midget like his toy is.

Really, because I was thinking that most of the non-movie toys have been more interesting than the ones actually in the movie. I'm really looking forward to Wreckage, the articulation on that figure is pretty amazing.

 

Thundercracker does look better with this head, but he's still going to look like a big ape. Still might want to try repainting one into a more accurate Starscream and Skywarp.

As for the repaint... hey, you wanted G1? This is about as close as you're gonna get. Quit whining.

 

I like it, and I might buy this instead of Starscream, "gorilla" or not. Looks impressive.

But, yeah - I REALLY Like this new head sculpt. It still seems movie-ish but is very Seeker-like too. I like it a lot!

He looks pretty good. The face is a little 'Rar! I will eat you' but pretty cool.
