It's pretty dumb to quote a post that's only a few posts over yours. Is it so hard to follow a conversation that you need a flashback every five seconds?

I would STRONGLY disagree with my practice of quoting a person so they know exactly who I'm talking to & what I'm talking about being "dumb" as you so eloquently put it.

 

It confused me earlier (see a couple of my posts above this) & it's ESPECIALLY important in a fast-moving thread with several points being discussed to keep track of the conversation.

 

Why make other people's lives hard? Too lazy to quote people? I'd understand if there was just 2 people talking, or just one point (Dirge or costs or whatever) being discussed; but that is NOT the case in this thread.

 

Stop clutching at straws please & at least try to have a sensible (& followable) conversation. :thumb

1: The colour... (okay, I'm stretching it with that one!)

2: The top surface is flat.

3: The tips fold up at a 90 degree angle, not down at (approx.) 45 degrees.

4: The angle of the wings is a lot sharper.

5: The wings have small fins at the front of them.

 

& that's without going into minor details...

They're both larger triangles towards the rear of the jet. I get that there's a difference in the details, and that it is a difference that's important to you, but that doesn't make it a more severe difference than it is.

Look, I can be redundant, too!

 

Saying "It's pretty dumb to..." is not the same thing as saying "You're dumb for...", but you're going to keep crying over it anyway so whatever. If I wanted to insult you, I wouldn't settle for calling you "dumb".

I'd suggest Starscream (if ye can still find 'im). Props to MikePrime who's already gotten one to go do his own repaint.

MP Thundercracker Exclusively from Botcon '08. I call 30 pages minimum, whether one or more threads.

I don't think remolds are neccesary on these. I mean these are based of the original molds not remakes. You can't take the toy with a ruler and set square and make sure every angle the same as the original. These are just comperable versions. Hell classics Prime had a canopy. He's in the main line. Why would starscreams redheaded stepchildren repaints get "more authentic" G1 remolds?

So why bother remoulding Starscream into Ramjet in the first place? Thrust may as well be a repaint then.

The different between Starscream and any conehead seeker is a HELL of alot more difference between Ramjet and Dirge.
