Did Scorponok and Terrorsaur really die?

Recommended Posts

Actually, all the first season G1 Decepticons were dumped in lava (Heavy Metal War). As for Terrorsaur and Scorpy, they're slagged.

Both Terrorsaur and Scorponok(mc donalds) so I say there transmetals but stuck in the lava to be diged up by human archaeologist then they star in a zany spinoff series with all the other bw loose ends(the status pods.)

They were thrown into the lava before their bodies were reformatted. Transmetals were more resistant. But neither were ever Transmetals. They were toast.

Interesting side note, but have you ever read Primeval Dawn? In that series, the Vok revive Tigatron and Airazor (again) and they join Primal Prime as he revives the remaining stasis pods. They do this in order to stop Tarantulas who is alive and well, he really didn't die but was instead infused with the power of the Vok. After that, Primal Prime and his Maximals return to Cybertron during the time Beast Machines took place. And the Maximals that were left behind were not to happy with Optimus Primal for doing so.

Moving on, Terrorsaur and Scorponok are dead.

Terrorsaur's hand was glowing, same as everyone who became TransMetal, as he was sinking into the lava. I don't remember if Scorponok was or not. That being said, for show purposes, they died. For fanfic or possible DW inclusion, I'm hoping someone makes up a story to explain Terrorsaur's unexpected survival. (He always reminded me so much of Starscream w/ his cowardice and longing for power that I like to think that he managed to survive somehow, just as Starscream always managed to survive.)

as far as i remember, i was in kindergarten when beastwars was showing on tv, scorponok and terrosaur did fall into the lava thingy never to be heard of again,,and good ol megatron with his rubber duckey quack quack :tfgrin

i think that is was only terrorsaur's hand glowing, and not scorponok's...i always liked the idea of terrorsaur getting his own gang of guys and then the beast wars could have been a 3-way battle at times, but it never did go like that!!

Terrorsaur and Scorpy should of survived. Maybe if they decide to do a coninuation of BM they might show up mean and hateful, but that would also mean more BM.

Of course we all know that Scorp and Terrosaur apparantly bit the dust in the first ep of BW season 2. I always wonderd if they really did die. As they both fell into the lava they were about to become Transmetals could this have saved them? we have seen transformers crash into lava before and survive Examples: Galvatron, Cyclonis ( after Galvy has his hissy fit and and knocks him into the lava in Five faces of Darkness) and the sweeps. Oh and can't forget when Quickstrike dumps BW Megs into some in Master Blaster! So what do you all think dead or not?

Galvatron and Cyclonus weren't in lava, it said on the show it was plasma. That's also what fried Galv's mental circuits, but it amplified his strength since he was in it for so long. Or, that's what he said-given his superior mental state, I'm not sure what truth there is to it. Cyclonus and the Sweeps were not in there for any length of time, so I'd bet that's the reason why they were fine. And let's not forget that they were all formatted by Unicron, so there's not a lot of explaining needed there.
