To be fair, some of the arguments used against him were pretty dual-ply as well. Insults are not the stuff of great debate, with the exception of on the internet.

Obviously I don't agree with x-bob... you can name things whatever you want in your own house. I often call Megatron Fred. (which is funny, cuz I think megatronpw38's name on tfw is fred... isn't it?)

 

Of course you'll run into a problem referencing your renamed item when discussing it with others, which is why it's also good to keep in mind its "official" name.

 

i renamed my SWAT Prowl from Energon Stockade, but I never refer to him as that here.

 

What we're missing here is that these are all just pieces of plastic and metal, in different colors, styles, shapes, and sizes. THey're named to differentiate them, and to be a part of a story, which draws people into buying them, but they're still INERT CHUNKS OF NON-LIFE.

And for the record, a minicon that turns into a jack and then stores in the trunk is an awesome idea. I had a similar idea back during Armada that Minicons should be incorporated as car parts themselves (i.e. engine, blower, jack, etc.)
