the spikes on bumble bee are to represent bee stingers (at least thats how i thought of them.) where as unicron is the devil.

It would be nifty to see a totally out-of-canon Elseworlds/What If...? story where a creative team could explore ideas that would never fly in a mainstream TF comic, borrowing from a mix of the cartoon mythos and various sources.

 

Bumblebee as an unwitting avatar of Unicron, programmed to idolize the Matrix-bearer and keep tabs, deepening that "spy" idea. Maybe have Starscream actually off Megatron once and for all and lead the Decepticons successfully. Maybe an exodus of Autobots changing sides as Jetfire, Omega Supreme and Grimlock rejoin their old friends in the wake of Megatron's defeat.

 

Then maybe have King Atlas (Diatlas for Japanese transfans) get the Matrix and go on a brutal spree.

 

With lines between Autobots and Decepticons blurred, the war over and restless old soldiers causing chaos around the galaxy thanks to the disorganization of the post-War TFs, Rodimus, Optimus, Arcee, Perceptor and several Decepticons must unite to defeat hundreds of renegade TFs and bring about the day when all are one.

Remember that Unicron isn't a creator god, he's a destructive one. He is unable to actually create anything, but rather his Heralds are merely built from pre-existing life forms. e.g.: Galvatron from Megatron etc. Furthermore, none of his Heralds ever bear a physical resemblance to Unicron. The only other beings that have intentionally done so were the Unicron acolytes who were never creations of Unicron, but rather members of a Unicron-worshipping cult.

 

And Bumblebee was never a member of this cult. We shouldn't be judging Bumblebee by any coincidental physical resemblance to Unicron. After all, Bumblebee is... More Than Meets The Eye! ;)

guys, you're missing the point. Wheelie has the same coloration as Unicron. the templates are almost spot on. if anyone is the son of Satan, it's him.
