Holiday Observations

Recommended Posts

So it seems to me that TFs literally FLEW off the shelves this year.

in fact i have two Targets near me that simply do not have ANY tfs at all.

one has a primus, and an attacktix combo pack - but NO Tfs to speak of.

It made me wonder - is this a good sign because literally TFs are selling out - like NOTHING left?

or is a bad sign cause they didnt really sell out the stores simply didnt bother to reorder any?

Meanwhile it seems that SW was slow up until the last week before christmas.

Superman, Pirates, seem completly untouched.

Wrestling and some anime pokemon clone thing - looked to me to be selling briskly.

Any other observations on the Holiday sell out?

I am in LA southern California - how does the rest of the country/world look?

Same. :clap

I really do wish somebody would already buy all of these damn wrestling & PR figures. There clogging valuable space that could be for more Transformers. :tfmad

Even the Sigma 6 figs sold out quicker alongside the TFs that any of the Wrestling/PR/Starwars/Batman/Superman/Ninja Turtles/Pirates & whatever the hell else figures. The only thing I did actually see was a yellow Cybertron Rumbele. Should maybe go back & buy it. :schin

other than tfs and sigma 6 figs, nothings realy moving around here. even the sigma 6 guys are somewhat cloggy @ TRU

i don't see a ton of people buying tfs, i just notice that i'll go there one day and there'll be a bunch, then go there another day and almost nothing....

all the stores around me were basically cleared of all old Cybertron & Classic stock, the only thing left were..... Star Wars Transformers *surprise surprise* :roll

What's a looser, anyway?

Is that like "binding and loosing?"

For me, the same thing happened last year. TRU was wiped clean several times. Mountains of Decepticharges, Shockblast, Windchargers, Wheeljacks, Even Smokescreen and Sideswipe 2packs and Minicons were all gone in like 2 days from my last visit to the store. Now $50 Starscreams were even spared.

Starwars and Transformers were almost sold out. Even the shelf-warming Primus pile was almost gone. I'm not really interested in much else, so I didn't check out any other aisles, but I didn't really notice any other empty shelves.

I went to Walmart last night and all they had was Menasaur, dreadwing, Metroplex, Galaxy Force Prime. Amazingly they had CL Mirage, C Smokescreen (I bought), Cl Starscream (I bought), a broke up Titanium Scourge, and Titanium TCracker (I bought) The whole shelf was missing stock. They had new Ben 10, Marvel Spiderman stuff and the new TMNT movie figs.
