I dont know - in my area the SW:TFs did as well as if not better than the regular SW figs.

The SW:TFs are not so bad really. Especially the newer molds. The Falcon is a TF gem no matter how you judge it .

Isn't it funny how

Transformers = Hot Seller

Star Wars = Hot Seller

Transformers + Star Wars = Shelf Warmer.

Hmm. Also, a gigantic monster has been preceding my every step and eating all Classics Grimlocks in my area before I get to them. He always leaves at least 2 Mirages behind so I know he got them, though.

All of this ^ is very true :tflaugh . I feel your pain on the Grimlock eating monster. I had to search high and low before I was able to defeat the monster and find my Grimlock on Christmas Eve eve.

Is it really that good? Is it something that I should spend the $30 on now so that I don't regret not getting it later??? Damn you HR, making me think on my vacation.

even cold slab of meat from ROCKY has been sold out here

Man. I think I did a triple take the first time I saw that "figure." SO funny.

I would've bought it the first time I saw it, but it doesn't have a stand.

IMO - the Falcon is pure awesomeness! And, at most Walmarts - it has been discounted some-but yeah i paid full price for it and its been my TFOTD a few times now.

Doesnt it hang from the meat hook?

I noticed the same thing today- the Transformers sections in toy aisles near me are desolate. Especially the Targets, where the current clearance is making them a rare find. And it's funny, because the only figures left are the ones you don't want. You never see the cool figures dangling from the shelf hooks, just the ones you already have or the ones you never wanted in the first place.

wait... there really is a cold slab of beef Rocky (in)action figure?

yikes.

they should have a Paulie figure, with turkey-throwing action. and a little button saying "You're busted!" and other such gems from the first Rockey.

The local Woolworths hasn't stocked any TF's in almost two years, the local Tesco's didn't stock any in for the Christmas season and the local Toymaster got Cyb Dark Scorponok in, which was their newest TF since Excellion back in late October.

I was hoping to get a Cyb Primus, but no luck and going into the local city at this time of year isn't a good idea. The SWTF Millenium Falcon is the best of the SWTF line, I've not managed to get any of the newer ones since they've not appeared in any shops where I live, so I don't know what they're like. The Falcon doesn't fall apart during transformation, nor does it fall over in it's robot modes like the rest of the line tends to do.

-~`,.

I was at TRU last night. Our TF section is relatively large, and was much sparser than normal.

Here's what we still stocked about 2 weeks b4 xmas:

Energon (about a dozen of the same guy)

Cybertron, all sizes, and LOC

Titanium 6 and 3

Alts

Beast Wars 10th (yes)

Classics (including the big 80$ optimus)

Last night:

All the energon are gone (finally)

Cybertron has nothing but gf prime and metro clogging the bottom shelf and about 1/2 of the minicon vs packs are still there and a couple stragling mudflaps.

Titanium 6 gone, about 1/3 of the 3 inch ones are still there

Alts - gone

BW 10th a couple left from wave 2

classics, 2 astrotrains, and about 30 of the big primes. theres so many they have a bin full. they didnt even sell well when they were on sale at 60$

Long and short:

Generally moved well. Got rid of a lot of old time shelf warmers, might have a bunch new and bigger more expensive shelf warmers.

Hopes: Make way for classics wave 2 and Titanium 6 inch waves 4 and up, and Alts Ravage and Rumble

Meat is in the lower left. And from what I could tell when I saw it, it had now way to stand up. It would just lay there.

So an actual non articulate piece of plastic priced as an action figure.

WTF????

I can almost justifie that if it has a stand but IMO no stand no sell. :tdown
