TO HELL WITH G1 purists and everyone who wants it to be just a 1 series Transformers , Times change so do Toons. DEAL WITH IT, you don't wanna see it, fine don't rub it in everyone elses face. Purists are like the hard core bible thumpers out there claiming that "GOD" is a comin' yet he hasn't come. the only one "COMING" would quite possibly be everyone out there getting Laid. don't worry Transformer community, i'll get my gal to scream out "TILL ALL ARE ONE" when the "ORGANIZM" hits. hehehehehehe

What about the initial problem that fans had with this movie? Michael Bay himself, or specifically, the dreaded fear that Transformers would be a dumb, thumbs down action movie that doesn't have a good story. Character designs aside, Transformers being a typical, dumb action movie was and still is a legitimate concern.

It's not a legitimate concern to me because Transformers IS a big, dumb action cartoon.

 

Every time there's see a film adaptation, the fans are always concerned about "will it live up to the original". In this case I think we're okay.

 

Indeed. Hell, as long as the CGI Autobots don't have a mistakenly added Decepticon insignia (or vice versa) we're already ahead of the game.
