Twist ties

Recommended Posts

Why the hell do the Classic LoC figures have no less than 4 twist ties?!!? They fit nice and snug in their cases without them.

Classic Mirage (a deluxe) on the other hand only had two.

God help kids who get a leader sized figure on Christmas morning. It takes a good 12 minutes to free them from their plastic tied prison!

lol - I feel your pain. :)

Use small nail clippers next time to cut them - it will save you a lot of stress.

or jsut use wire cutters... you can find them at walmart for probably $4-5 and it'll save your nail clippers from dulling :D

I like toys from Japan. I opened my kids Revoltech Dante figure and guess what, he'll never know. They are no Twisty ties. The plastic casing is mold to almost all there figs.

Which toy had the most twistie ties???

I would have to say GF Primus - GOD, that sucker had a million of them!

giant toys like that can't help but have a Blotload of twist ties. But yeah, I use wire-cutters (I call them tin-snips).

But the Americans do tend to use a LOT more twist ties than the Japanese - I always notice that my Japanese Transformers have waaaaaay less twist ties than my Hasbro ones. Takara tend to use more tightly-fitting insert trays instead, which I much prefer over twist ties.

american companies use twist ties to artificially inflate the cost of a toy. it's like the pentagon spending $5000 on a hammer and funneling the difference into a shadow ops project.

They obvious put em in so I can tie up all the wires from my electronics. God bless Hasbro.

I liked the little plastic hooks used on the Star Wars TF's - surely the only good thing about them!
