I didn't post them before, but here's a couple of pics of Classics Grimlock in 'Bot mode. Enjoy!

How do you like the arm articulation? are his legs sturdy? I am still looking for this toy but was wondering if his legs were wobly.

The legs could be stiffer, the arm articulation is pretty good, but the black clips above his shoulders are as bad as everyone says - they don't sit in properly. This isn't a problem regarding stability, I just find that the whole top and backpack of the figure want to move when you turn the head. Oh and he seriously needs an energy sword! Still, any shortcomings are made up by the dino mode being awesome, and by having a Grimlock whose head is actually ABOVE his shoulders, rather than sitting back 1/2 a mile from them. Recommended!

Agreed, he needs an energon sword instead of a Starscream-slapping tail.

Damn. He looks cool in those pics. I want him more now. I'm still happy I found Mirage first though.

mmmHAH! its missing stickers! other than that, i got nothing. i cant wait to get one

I wanna see more shots where the Classics are lined up against all their former counterparts!

Like

of Classic Mirage hanging out with all the other Mirages (I don't have G2 Mirage, so I used RiD Mirage to compensate - same mould), Classic Bumblebee being swarmed by all the other Bumblebees (except AM Bumblebee, whom I don't have) and later being trounced by Hot Rod, Rodimus Prime and Micromaster Hot Rodimus (after having accidentally severed Classic Rodimus' hand in a lightsabre fight). No, I didn't include any of the A/E/C Hot Shots/Rodimuses, because they're not the same character.

I've yet to do a photo shot of Classic Starscream with all my other Starscreams... and Astrotrain's not really worth it since there aren't that many incarnations of him.

So yeah -- do a shot with your Classic Grimmy next to all your other Grimmies!! :D I intend to do that when I get my Classic Grimlock (still searching!) - which would mean I would have to dig out my BT Grimlock who's currently at the bottom of a pile of other boxed BTs... :P

Question: I notice this Grimlock is the same as mine as far as this goes. Are the shoulder parts on the arms backwards? I know you can probably turn them around and it wouldn't effect transformation. I wonder, because the instructions show him one way and the packaging shows another.

It's kind of like when I got the TRU Classics 2 pack and I realized that Megatron's feet were on backwards.

If you turn Grimlock's shoulders around, then the screws will face forward in dino mode instead of robot mode. So it's your choice.
