As for the Autobot cars, I think it would be really hard for them to try to pass new ones off as "MP". BT's/Alts seem to have a good hold on that. However they did make a Alt. OP so I guess it wouldn't really matter. JMO I still would not want them to do it.

 

If they made a MP RP, I could be perfectly happy about that (as long as he turned into a Dually (sp?) Ford 350 w/Canopy). At least that way I can justify buying the Kiss Hot Rod.

I have to go with Galvatron on this one for the following reasons: The MP line strives and mostly succeeds at giving us the "best of both worlds" designs when it comes to the fig's bot and alt modes. Everyone other than Galvatron has been done reasonably well through past or up and coming reissues in one form or another. (e.g. Classics, Alts, Soundwave type reissues etc. etc.) This leaves Galvatron. I'm sure I don't have to remind you what a mess the G1 Galvatron figure was.

 

IMO The MP line is the only line that could pull off the technical challenge involved in getting a decent bot and alt mode out of a fig such as Galvatron. The MP line has the resources and the backing to pull this off. Just look at how nicely MP Megs is shaping up.

 

While I'd love to see an MP Grimlock, I think he has that "been there, done that" feel to him and his transformation is way to simple for the MP line. (a perfect canidate for the 6" Titanium line methinks though) I'm lovin' the MP3 Soundwave idea, but with his upcoming reissue and again, the simplicity of transformation, I'm thinking Takara wouldn't put him in the running for the MP line.
