Did I comment on this yet? I don't remember, but I don't think I have. Anyway, G1 accurate Megs that is the same size as MP Prime... VERY GOOD!!!

 

I am just a whore for the MP line so I am ecstatic that there is another one coming out and that the word (so far) is that that are doing it right. I personally thought I would prefer a tank Megs, but if this is done correctly (time will tell), then I think the pure G1 homage it better (and as someone else said, they can always do G2 Megs later).

 

Anyway, wanna see some pics, but so far so good.

PLUS, I've never (and probably about 99% of the fandom too) seen a P-38 in real life so you could tell me the real version is 10 feet tall and I'd believe you.

Geez guy, walk into a gun shop some time. :tflaugh P38s are a fairly well known handgun... they go for around $600 last time I asked a gun shop guy about them. I've seen them for less than that at pawn shops... I guess they were a pretty common gun in the '80s.

 

I just hope MP-6 is Tank Megs.

Would've preferred him being a tank though, but him being a gun is more geewun. Besides, I've been dying for a MP Megatron for a long time (even bought an extra MP Magnus to make one myself).

 

As for him not being in scale, I don't care. He'll be mostly in robot mode anyways.

 

 

I do hope that his legs won't be too skinny. I'd prefer it if he would have a strong looking body, unlike the G1 toy and that his bodily proprotions will look more like he did in the cartoon and the comic . On the other hand I really hope he won't be the light-gray/white he was in the cartoon. I'd really prefer a steel colored version (or at least a more darker colored gray). Would look far better and more menacing IMO.

the fandom has hit a new low. i didn't think that things could get worst after all the movie Starscreaming but now i'm hearing Starscreaming that MP Megatron needs to have a robot mode as big as MP Prime's but also transform into a 1:1 scale Walther P-38. it's official, the G1 purists are completely stark-raving insane :guh

Can one of you point out where any single person demanded both of those at the same time, because I just don't see it (or mass shifting for that matter)? I see several reasonably civil remarks toward one or the other and then alot of "waaaaah! me want tank! me hate geewun! waaaaah!" All of this is before any pictures show up no less! It's funny when the shoe's on the other foot, isn't it? Hey, maybe when I get home from work I'll make one of those awesome signature graphics where I use crude Internet language to belittle them!

 

Seriously, it's like some people don't care how much product is out because they can't be happy until all the G1 fans are completely miserable. What would they do if G1 did go away, wander the neighborhood burning down our homes, kidnapping family members, and destroying our credit ratings? So called "G1 purists" have no monopoly on any of this "stark raving insane" behavior.
