am i the only one who dislikes the mustang alt

Aside from the hood not seating properly, the only major problem I've had is with bubbling and chipping paint on the hood. I think Grimlock was the perfect choice for the original release. It has a pretty tough looking bot mode.

if you can't get the hood to seat properly in robot mode, it's probably because the flap that folds down for his head is in the way. Try not pushing it flush with the underside of the hood, leave it at an angle.

hte main reason i hate them is because on wheeljack he doesn't fit together in aly mode and there is a horrible gap between the undercarriage and the doors.

You're probably not pushing the shoulders into thier pegs as far as they need to go. Massage them a little while appling pressure and the doors will fit better.

as for that pick of DE.... i can NOT get sideswipe to move his legs like that... his waist blocks any and all forward and backward movement of his legs, save a VERY small amount.

even with the pain of many hammers?

Even with, it's hardly demanding of the hands and eyes. Only Alt. Prime and Alt. Nemesis have had me in enough pain to put them down and take a breather.

the Mustang is a good mold, but it's hard. I think it's appropriate for molds to be difficult in the alt line. I think U nemesis prime is one of the hardest to do.

Hard transforms:

alt mustang

Alt prime

The MP series

The THS series

U Nem Prime

I would say all of these are pretty hard. The Scion, I thought was really hard the first, time, but it seemed to get easier. The others always seem to stay pretty challenging.

hmm... i didn't find the Ram mould all that hard. i didn't push the shoulders in far enough the first time i went from bot to truck, but it only took a few seconds to find my error. also, as far as the Scion, i keep forgetting that you have to slide his legs in, i'm constantly trying to get the stupid roof/back end to fit over and can't figure out what i'm doing wrong and then, like a light bulb, it just clicks and i smack myself. it took me forever to figure out the doors on the Acura mould though.

1) i do that but wheel jack's hood keeps coming up

2) the problem isn't the doors it's the undercarrige(tiredness)

I've transformed both Wheeljack and Grimlock several times, but I still forget how to fold the arms for the car mode. So, I don't hate it, but I completely understand why someone else would.

hard transformations r kewl

like mustang mold - it is hard

ths-01 was not that hard... ths-02 I found harder than mp-03 [did not even need instructions for mp-03] ths-02 I knew what needed to be done but my fingers were too big and I ended up checking the instructions - lol - both toys are awesome - *runs to post his haul thread*

I never use instructions, so maybe that's why it's so hard for me :-) :tard
