am i the only one who dislikes the mustang alt

Recommended Posts

there are several reasons for this.

1) they are impossible to transform into vehicle mode so they line up properly

2) they break too easily (my alt wheeljack has broken on the bumper bit that covers the knees)

3) they are harder to pose in a cool way (even the viper mold manages this)

yes.

1. You just have to massage it a little

2. The only parts on mine (I have 4) that break are the door hinges, and they pop right back on.

3. I find this to be not true at all.

i think they are capable of super awesome poses of awesomeness. But yes they suck to Transform (in before some c0cktard is all like, "ZOMG they art teh ezy to transform :roll) like we ALL don't know better

when i was at botcon i joked with a vendor because he was fighting to transform wheeljack... hastakatomy knows that head is too damned big for that slot.

i still contend that the mustang is the hardest alt to transform

true it's one of the hardest to transform but my big problem is getting the waist to turn around. All of the rest of it has never been too much of a problem for me. I can see however how some of it could be difficult for some.

I agree with this

And Smith, you have to tilt the head back on the ball joint and poof! It's never rubs or touched the hood while transforming.

I have to agree, I didn't like Alt Grimlock and wound up selling him. It doesn't help that I don't really like Mustangs, only Gotti Boy wanne-be's drive them near me.

I found the transformation fairly simple for the mould as long as you remember to lower the arms as a second phase in the transformation to robot mode and then in vehicle mode, twist the legs round first and fold the arms. The hardest I've found, well kind of hard, was the Ram mould because of how weak the plastic is in the arms and chest.

while the mould is one of the most difficul transformations i've seen, i love the hell out of it. and as far as the viper mode having more posability.... how? seriously! i can't think of any way of posing sideswipe other than generic bow legged cowboy stance w/ sideways aiming action. as for breaking the only problem i've ever had is the underside coming off while rotating and the forearms being loose. if i had to choose one alternator to be my favorite it'd probably be grimmy... am i the only problem that has hood aligment issues with the mustang though? it just won't sit flush.
