am i the only one who dislikes the mustang alt

while the mould is one of the most difficul transformations i've seen, i love the hell out of it. and as far as the viper mode having more posability.... how? seriously! i can't think of any way of posing sideswipe other than generic bow legged cowboy stance w/ sideways aiming action. as for breaking the only problem i've ever had is the underside coming off while rotating and the forearms being loose. if i had to choose one alternator to be my favorite it'd probably be grimmy... am i the only problem that has hood aligment issues with the mustang though? it just won't sit flush.

Some one said the Viper is more posable than the Mustang???? What are they smoking. Those stupid legs Ruin any posabilty

The Mustang mold has an awesome "bring it on" pose that can hardly be beat. I would add that Skids probably has THE best articulation of his limbs. (forget the waist though)

The mustang mold is ok. I think it looks powerful in both modes. If I were a decision maker on the Hasbro boards, I would have made a Springer Mustang. Use the olive green color that Mustang has and he already has a sword, and you can see the shocks in his legs, to simulate his "jumping" power. I don't know if anyone has ever done a kit bask of this, but it's screaming to get done.

My only gripe I have with the mold is more to do with the Wheeljack one. His lower torso has poor QC isues: it doesnt snap into place beneath the hood very well, and constantly slides out of lock.

I found the transformation fairly simple for the mould as long as you remember to lower the arms as a second phase in the transformation to robot mode and then in vehicle mode, twist the legs round first and fold the arms. The hardest I've found, well kind of hard, was the Ram mould because of how weak the plastic is in the arms and chest.

even with the pain of many hammers?

alt i have the most trouble with is the scion. i tf'd him to and from once, then posed him. like 3 months later i tried to turn him back into the van and i was stumped. i got everything but the placement of the arms.

the mustang is among the best. but we need a new one. this one should be colorful.

i never said the vipers had more articulation, i'm just saying i find it easier to pose them in ways that look cool.

but the mustangs are crap , they have the articulation in the legs it's just impossible to get it to look decent because of the car undercarriage behind the legs.

but then again i only have alt wheeljack and bt deadend so i'm bound to like DE better.

this pic is for those who say the vipers have no possibility.

i find i have to be more patient with the mustang to get a decent pose than with dead end

Aside from the hood not seating properly, the only major problem I've had is with bubbling and chipping paint on the hood. I think Grimlock was the perfect choice for the original release. It has a pretty tough looking bot mode.

i still contend that the mustang is the hardest alt to transform

Without the doors popping off. :D

the vette mold would like to trump that. its not hard... i just hate it.

hte main reason i hate them is because on wheeljack he doesn't fit together in aly mode and there is a horrible gap between the undercarriage and the doors.
