Well, I probably paint my customs differently than most.... I don't use spraypaint or sandpaper.

I use what's called Testor's paint markers. They are available at Wal-Mart (model section) in a three pack for around $10.

The pack I bought contained black, silver, and red... all perfect for this guy here. :thumb (The black 'pen' also matches the color of my car - it covers little scratches perfectly!)

What I do is unassemble, paint the red 'details' first, not worrying about the overpainted areas because the black covers it up later. Then when I paint the black areas, I use a toothpick to 'shave' away the excess so the lines are straight. The paint goes on thick enough, and it has a glossy shine when finished.

Re-assemble the pieces and you are all set! (I would give it about a full day to dry, and lose the tackyness)

The head was easy - just unassemble the head, remove the light piping and paint the eyes red. When dry, re-assemble! (I also painted the rear light piping area black - the green wasn't too menacing and it no longer matched with the rest.)

Have fun!

I may have changed my mind about Classics Megs, need Alt mode pics.

I've done digibash after digibash of this guy..... and I always end up thinking "the existing colors don't look so bad". I think it's just a matter of getting used to it.

Now that's tight

That kicks about three kinds of ass. *Steals scheme*

just out of curiosity, has anyone made any attempts to fix the arm cannon problem? I'm eager to get this Megs so I can attempt something myself.

I suppose that one could get used to them, but the orange has got to go.

I did actually try to flip the right hand during disassembly, but the plastic is made in such a way that it won't flip out at all when trying to TF him.

I suppose anything short of dremelling off the excess plastic might work....

I didn't even know that there was an amr problem. I've been away too long. Whats the problem?

It's not really a "problem," it's just that it sits under the forearm instead of on the side. I guess you could mod the fig to have a rotating wrist to sort of fix it.
