Eh... i MAY blacken the orange parts.

 

Aside from this, this is a Megatron I simply cannot put down. ALL HAIL CLASSICS... :)

 

same here, i dunno if i'll ever get around to painting the orange. this guy is just TOO much fun and if i'm having this much fun (ah that lil click!!!) i can only imagine how much fun i'd have had as a kid! hopefully the kids of today still have enough imagination left to realy enjoy this guy!

 

i gotta admit that i saw him there in the packaging and kinda second guessed picking him up as i could have gotten two of the deluxes but i gotta say that just having him out of the packaging improves how he looks that much more and if it wasn't for the paint he'd look like a real gun, not a nerf gun because i swear i've seen a gun like this in some military video game or movie of some sort.

 

my ONLY real grip is the trigger on his shoulder that inhibits the range of the cannon, which could be fixed by repositioning the cannon to the side of the arm or allowing the wrist to rotate so it at least looks like it's on the side of his arm :tftongue

The replies in this topic come as no surprise to me. I pretty much knew that people would love this figure, even if they were a bit put off at first.

 

I can't wait to see some customs on the paint though...I'm actually surprised there haven't been a bunch already.

 

Anyway, in case you haven't figured it out yet, I love the figure too. I wasn't too thrilled with the idea of going back to Megs as a gun, but they did a real nice job.

id say its got the best homages but Cybertron/GF IMO is the best megs toy and GF galvatron pwns them both

i really like the figure, the orange was repainted into black with no trouble at all. now the only thing left is to do something about the green parts of the wings

red eyes? no problem, thats fixed!

 

i personally flip the wings around so the grey points outward, instead of the green.
