Classics Megatron

Recommended Posts

THis figure kicks so much ass. Seriously, if there's a toy that's designed to kick ass, this is it. Too bad about the colours, though. At least now I can actually admit I've bought a Megatron I can display.

I agree that the black and red color scheme looked really badass. Of course, they said that they didn't want anything holding this figure back. That's why they went ahead and made it in colors that wouldn't cause problems with any regulations or whatever. The concept pics were in black and red, FWIW.

if you look at these figs as updated versions (continuations) of G1, then Megs color scheme isnt that bad. think Galvatron reverting back to his Megs persona (not loosing any power, just keeping the same colors).

The colors don't really bother me, because it ended up being such a great figure. If I would have had the choice, when I was a kid, between this Classics Megatron and the original, it would have been a no brainer. Classics rules.

I think if there were more silver on this fig, and you can put his underarm cannon else where, that would be perfect.

Mine isnt any more back heavy than Energon Megatron. If the wings are straight out to the sides - he seems ok.

but hmmm - i also wonder if C-Soundwave just joined my classics collection.

W00T!

So true. It's knowing HOW to pose him that matters.

Me, I just wonder if it's possible to "re-shell" him with either a more realistic shell, or at least a more sci-fi and less "Nerf" shell. Sans wings, his bot mode looks AWESOME.

Did you get him, yet? I could only think "Nerf" when I saw the original pics. Once I had him in hand, though, no Nerf thoughts at all.

Could just be me, though.

I thought the same until I actually purchased him as well.

I just noticed this...has anyone else seen the string of bullets that run up the right side of his abdomen in robotmode? It's beautiful, because it's like the bullets are actually being brought up from the leg that forms the guns handle, where a clip* might be, and into his arm mounted cannon to pick off Autobots!

I love this toy.

*I know he's technically a revolver. Shut up. Quit ruinin' my fun.
