Review - Titanium Jetfire 6-Inch Figure

Recommended Posts

With the 2nd wave of 6" transformable Titanium figures comes 2 figures. One Autobot, one Decepticon, just as in the 1st wave. This review is for the Autobot Jetfire. Scientist and former friend to Starscream, Jetfire felt betrayed when Starscream joined the Decepticons. At first, he was neutral to which side to join. I love the alt mode. :thumb :thumb

He can be displayed in "gerwalk mode", can't he? :tfhuh

Glad to hear this one is a lot better then the first two! I didn't like the designs at first, but they've been growing on me. If I see them I'll snag them to hold me over till Classics.

He can't, because he's not a Robotech knock-off like the original Jetfire. And, because both of his arms make up parts of the jet mode, so it really can't have a "gerwalk" mode. :tfgrin

yep, wave 2 got better in some areas and worse in others......gotta detach the wings/backpack to transform? Head completely visable on portside?

Oh yeah baby this is a great transformer! :rofl :rofl :rofl

Another BIG goose egg for titaniums, yeeeeeaaaaaah :tard

Bare in mind, some people when thinking about the "gerwalk" mode sometimes overlook the part where the arms are part of the mode. It is the legs that are more noticable and most memorable. In this case it appears that sans the arms this plane might be able to walk on its legs hince "sudo-gerwalk".

Don Figueroa must think this is realy cool. His design for War Within Jetfire was almost an exact copy of a mech he designed for his fanmade Macro Master TF comic. In fact, he had even made a toy for that design. So seeing something you made just for fun effectivly beeing mass produced, that must be a big ego boost.

Bah.If you need to dismantle it to transform it, it's no better than BTR.That's why the G1 jets sucked. So far Titanium has been a mixed blessing at best...even if the line improves,it'll be hard to live down Megatron.

At least these don't have extra hands and landing gear left over.
