New MOVIE toy listings in TRU computers

I'm glad there is no Ultra price point. Alot of Ultras these days are just Voyagers in a bigger box that cost an extra €8.

I bet there will be.

And then you have Classics Prime, which is a Deluxe in a big, empty Voyager-sized box... but that's another story.

* Notes no mention of "movie Alternators" *

:tfsad

thats Transformers DLX Figure 1 & 2... both of them are 9.99 ^_^ so they're deluxe class just they don't have a description for the characters yet

I'm half-wondering if that first $9.99 Titanium price point is a typo and the Titaniums are actually split into a $4.99 non-transforming figurine (similar to the current line) - and a more expensive DLX verision that actually transforms.

Also, as I posted in another thread: I can see the Unleashed line appealing to the (generally) more adult action figure collectors who don't normally collect TF toys, but like highly-detailed McFarlane-esque statues/figures.

oh yea, from the designs we've seen so far, an Unleashed line could realy do some justice to the bots from the movie. i realy can't see how the bots are going to tf into good looking alt modes so obviously the toys are going to have dumbed down bot modes. the unleashed line can give us perfectly replicated bot modes from the movie. so yea i can see that working out good.

I am SO all over that... the thought of dumbing down those awesome movie designs makes me weep inside

not that I won't be buying the toys anyway just to have something for my dioramas

Now, as to Scorponok. Why is everybody saying he'll be/should be a scout. By all means, he's supposed to be big. So if they're only using these four sizes in the line, then make him a voyager. Not a scout. That'd be too small. That proto/movie pic looks like it'd be too big to be the size of a scout toy. It'd be better if they made them in Ultra sizes, then that'd be perfect for Scorponok. But not a scout. That'd just be plain dumb and stupid.

Huh? Scorponok's NOT that big.

Scorponok is dropped from Blackout's back as a canister/bomb-casing/box and transforms.

He's a minion and from the descriptions, his body should only be about the size of a compact car (at most) with his tail giving him extra length. However, he, himself is not very big. He's only gonna be a Deluxe at most, unless they've changed it and made him huge (which could happen, but from early reports he's not that big compared to the other TF's).

Where did that info come from.

the leaked scripts

also i dunno... i honestly can't see any scouts in the line, maybe sam, the girl, and frenzy, but i think that most of the bots are at least deserving of dlx releases. like i said, scorponok should be released in the unleashed line but we'll go for scout for now.... maybe something along this line...

Scout

--------------

Frenzy

Scorponok

dlx

---------------

Jazz

Bumblebee

Barricade

Voyager

------------------

Ironhide

Ratchet

Brawl

Bonecrusher

Starscream (although the toy we saw looks like a deluxe, he is one of the bigger vehicles though)

Blackout

Leader

--------------

DUH ops and megs goes here

i know thats more voyagers than deluxe's but i think that based on vehicle size thats how it should go, and realy if we're going on vehicle size, the 4 decepts could make it into ultra class instead of voyagers. so yea thats obviously not how it's going to go, but how it should go, imo, based on vehicle size.

hey do me a favor

PLEASE DON'T REFERENCE STUFF FROM LEAKED SCRIPTS BECAUSE SOME OF US MIGHT NOT WANT TO KNOW KTHX

Agree'd

If you ARE going to reference stuff from the leaked script(s), use the SPOILER TAG.

I'd like to actually be surprised about SOMETHING when I go see this movie.

That was me.

I "spoiler'd" what I thought to be true spoilers.

I didn't figure Scorponok's size would be that big of a deal as a spoiler.

So if it Powerglideed with ya, sorry.

Yeah, that'd be nice...but the current Unleashed figs aren't the big statues anymore.

The Star Wars Unleashes line currently focuses on troop builders/generals in a small and detailed scale.

My guess, they're going to squeeze the Transformers movie license into this format (somehow). :tfhuh

Of course they could go back to the larger scale, but from what I gathered they didn't sell that well.
