New MOVIE toy listings in TRU computers

Recommended Posts

Judging by what the writers said on the webcast, and going with how they make the figures based upon rank and role in the various series (with most of the figs being built of DLXs and Scouts), my guesses are the figs will be like this

Scouts:

Bumblebee-Underdog type character. The scout. Smallest of the gang.

Frenzy-Smaller form. Stealth spy.

DLXs:

Jazz

Brawl

Bonecrusher

Barricade

Voyager:

Ratchet

Ironhide

Starscream

Blackout

Leaders:

Obvious no brainers that it'll be Prime and Megs.

Now, as to Scorponok. Why is everybody saying he'll be/should be a scout. By all means, he's supposed to be big. So if they're only using these four sizes in the line, then make him a voyager. Not a scout. That'd be too small. That proto/movie pic looks like it'd be too big to be the size of a scout toy. It'd be better if they made them in Ultra sizes, then that'd be perfect for Scorponok. But not a scout. That'd just be plain dumb and stupid.

Now, what's with the following:

Mask Roleplay

Roleplay

Bump N Go

Buzz Bumblebee

Starter Fig

And two Titaniums, priced at the same price point, but they're not labeled the same as the deluxes are.

And why the h3ll do we have Unleashed figs coming in this line. The SW Unleashed figs suck big time. Really suck. They're no good and are nothing more than big statues with posable arm rotation. Bad choice and that part of the toy line will flop IMO. Even my dad who gets SW figs sometimes was dissapointed with Unleashed Vader.

Uhhh...

The idea behind Unleashed figures is that they are supposed to be "statues" not poseable toys.

Megatron mask... to scare the living crap out of people.

:rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl

I just hope the Unleashed TF's aren't all melting/on fire. I started to get IG-88, until I noticed he didn't have any feet because his lower half was engulfed in orange plastic flame.

The on fire part is part of being Unleashed

FOR UNLEASHED IS EXTREME!

Huh? Scorponok's NOT that big.

Scorponok is dropped from Blackout's back as a canister/bomb-casing/box and transforms.

He's a minion and from the descriptions, his body should only be about the size of a compact car (at most) with his tail giving him extra length. However, he, himself is not very big. He's only gonna be a Deluxe at most, unless they've changed it and made him huge (which could happen, but from early reports he's not that big compared to the other TF's).

Hmm... I was also under the impression that Scorponok would be bigger. I remember reading an interview with some extras who were told to react as though a "giant scorpion" were doing something or other. I just figured giant = GIANT, not just large in comparison to a regular scorpion.

Maybe I'm wrong...

But I seem to remember the descriptions of his tail and head (which were constructed as IRL Props) not being that big. Plus a scorpion the size of a compact car is pretty friggin' huge.

I'm glad there is no Ultra price point. Alot of Ultras these days are just Voyagers in a bigger box that cost an extra €8.

Where did that info come from.

That's why he should be a voyager. I mean even if he is the size of a compact car, that's still pretty big. But just alone the fact that they were told at the Air Force base to fly around something like a GIANT scorpion and not something small like Frenzy which they could easily just go at with thier own selves.

BTW, according to the info on tfw2005 regarding the heights of the robots...this would put Jazz in the scout class and Bumblebee in the DLX class, which imo is just wrong considering the writers said that BB's the smallest of the Autobots. But I'm willing to be there's a mix up on one of the two sides as far as this info is concerned.

Now SharpTooth, as far as Ultras are concerned, yes, some of them are just Voyagers in a bigger box, but considering the size of Cyb Jetfire and Dark Scorpy, they need to be Ultras since they're a little too big in vehicle mode/alt mode to be Voyagers. Scourge however could have easily been a Voyager.
