Since it's BT that got me into the hobby, it's safe to say I wouldn't be happily TF collecting. I'd be blissfully not collecting TF (I'd probaly be better off ;)).

One thing to hold out hope for: It may be that OP was the only one who won't be diecast due to his size. He would have required a lot more diecast than say mirage.

I doubt there will be any diecast - why bother going through all the expense and tooling to make diecast panels when you've already lowered expectations with Convoy.

 

Even with Convoy, taking into consideration that the average BT's body panels are only about 50% diecast, I'd say the Ram would have likely had similar content to the Jeep, with just the doors, hood and maybe fenders made of diecast (hello, top-heavyness).
