Personal Message From Don Murphy 8/20/06

Recommended Posts

Despite all the argument did anybody yet notice the "welker is in the process of being cast as Megatron" bit of news. :roll

Not to say it will happen but seeing as Murphy/Bay are considering it alone is enough to excite me. :clap

I noticed, but was too busy speaking my mind.. but I agree with all the drooling..

lol.. notice how even the people who don't care about the G1 look STILL want Welker and Cullen for the voices?

Another point, I believe.

Xamot: So don doesnt need us apparently, thats gonna make us wanna go see this pos

No, he's saying that we don't have enough to make a true judgment about the movie. It's like seeing the opening credits for a movie and screaming "I'm leaving this sucks!!!!" We just don't have enough.

Each to their own, but as I stated before.. he's got a point.

Edited to add quote.. someday I've got to learn to do that...

Xamot's right. don's saying he doesn't need anybody but those willing to blindly follow whatever they say about the movie. he's saying wait until you've spent your $15 bucks + gas to go see the thing then pass judgement. i've seen enough to know that it's not transformers to me. he wants me to see the film before i decide, fine i'll just download it. i'm not paying $20 to watch a movie that i'm going into with a negative view to begin with. if i like it, then i'll go see it, but until then they arn't getting a cent of my money.

oh for god's sake just shut the hell up

BK: As I stated, I'm not taking a side on this, because for me, seeing it on the big screen is enough.

Now.. All I'm saying is that IMHO, we really haven't seen enough. I'm not saying waste money. If you don't want to see it, fine, and if you've seen enough to this point to turn you away from it.. cool. Far be it from us to try to make someone do something they don't want to do (that's not sarcasm).

But again, We haven't seen any of the CGI in truth. We haven't seen the robots themselves except one full picture (not animation) and a couple of renders.

We've seen about 4 pieces of a 5000+ piece jigsaw puzzle.

Maybe I'm the only one that feels this way, but I'm reserving judgment until I see:

A: the full trailer

B: More of the robots and CGI - after all, that's what most of us are here to see.

Just some points for the sake of discussion.

I agree. That's how Don's message came across to me aswell. I don't think I have made any comments about the movie besides saying I don't like the looks of the toys or the designs so I had a bit of hope for this flick it just seams to me like they are sick of the Starscreaming but to say if you don't like it then bugger off...Mabey you need to grow up Don deal with the Blot, you do need us and we will Starscream about it. Sean = Wheelie

There's no other way to see peoples guts squirt out their asses than on the BIG screen. I'm there.
