Prime and Megs are getting Combat Hero toys. To me, that's enough for Classics to qualify as Generation 3. What do you think?

...when you said in the thread title that it's "official," did you mean that HasTak announced it was so or because you said so? :/

If it is really official, then I hope they will continue where Generation 2 left off and creating a prequel for Beast Wars - i.e., by the end of the G3 story we should have:

+ Rodimus as Autobot commander

+ The return of the Wreckers!

+ At the end of the series, a decisive victory for the Autobots over the Decepticons and a conclusive end of the war with the signing of the Pax Cybertronia at the end of the series

how is my comment whiney? it's not like i'm saying "WAAAAAAAAAAAH I WANT CLASSIC TO BE G3!!", i'm just pointing out how, like in G2, there are Combat Hero versions of Prime and Megs so technically, Classics could be considered G3. unless you consider the Classics to be a stand-alone continuity which IMHO would eleminate the purpose of the line.

doubt that it is.

come on, does anyone agree with me?

It's Geewun Redux. To me, it's an alternate reality G1 replacing the events in the Binaltech story. Instead of a massive forced body overhaul, they all just changed to get with the current times. Also none of that Unicron business has happened yet.

I just see it has G1 re-imagined. Like if the show was originally released now instead of 20 years ago this is what the characters would look like. I'd call it more like G1.5.

That's basicly what G2 was suppose to be.

*never read G2* *feels lost* *feels hungry* Goes to get Mcgriddle*
