I just wondering, what is your most favorite voice of Optimus Prime? My favorite is Gary Chalk, makes Optimus have a very strong voice. What's your favorite?

Peter Cullen is Prime in my opinion. Although I will gladly and freely admit that so is Gary Caulk, it is just that Cullen personified the character so much more that it really isn't even a contest.

(Now, ask me about Megs and you will get a very different answer. I love Welker, but David Kaye is the man!!!)

David Kaye in my opinion totally pwns Welker, kaye made Megs have a really evil voice which fits megatron perfectly. Also like David Kaye's british voice.

Gary Chalk all the way. :thumb

Chalk only sounds like Primal to me. He sounds more like a high ranking ieftenant than the General.

Chalk sounds too much like a by the book leader wheras the Optimus Prime from G1 was more unorthodox by times and his own man (mech).

Without question Cullen: His voicing of Optimus made the character iconic.

Same goes for Welker's Megatron: His gravely pitch personified ruthlessness and evil. So much so that when I first saw TFTM where following Megatron's reformatting into Galvatron, I remember being disappointed to hear Nimoy's voice.

Hearing Kaye in Beast Wars I could've sworn Megatron had some gay in him.

Cullen but not from the show, from the movie, that's when he got away from the "John Wayne" impression and really found the prime character

I've never established a favorite, each added something to prome that was needed for that show.
