Scourge and Cyclonus

Recommended Posts

wait, how can you tell which one is Thundercracker and which one is Skywarp? You don't see any color on them when they're being reformatted, so how do you know which is which? And whatever happened to the other Cyclonus?

Since the other 'Cyclonus' wasn't supposed to be Cyclonus (it WAS an art mistake), it didn't appear again. It was just supposed to be another ship in Cyclonus's 'armada'.

ok, but that still doesn't explain which seeker becomes Cyclonus and which one becomes Scourge. All the sites I've been to (unicron.com, tfarchive.com, etc) are just based on the opinions of the people on that site.

There are pics which will show Thundercracker between the two insecticons. Click on Scourge and you will see it.

Yes, and I'm willing to bet their opinions are all based on their memory of the scene, rather than having freeze-framed through it.

If memory serves (having the advantage of said recent freeze-frame viewing), they do have color at first, and a split second before the change happens, it goes black-and-white/greyscale then the transmutation animation starts (all purple grid thing).

hmm, okay. One thing that confused me is the New Wreckers comic that has both Skywarp and Cyclonus in it. I don't know if it's supposed to be the originals, or just guys that took the name i.e. BW Megatron. But Devcon showed up in the comic too, and it was the original, just with a new body. He had his old body back by the end of that issue. If you wanna see what I'm talkin bout, go to botcon.com, and click on storyline. The first comic is Departure, the second is Betrayal. It's a good story, I like it. Anyways, back to the topic at hand, I can see that Thundercracker is Scourge now, too bad Skywarp wasn't Cyclonus though. That just would've made more sense, to me anyways.

Dunno what to say to that, other than comic continuity has always been different from cartoon continuity. *shrug*

actually, on closer inspection, that image at unicron.com doesn't prove Thundercracker is Scourge cuz it's a scene where all the Cons are being drawn towards Unicron. In the scene where they're being reformatted, they all change purple during the process, so you can't tell which seeker is which. I'm not trying to be argumentative here, I'm just trying to get to the bottom of this through constructive criticism.
