yup PS2 is $99 and plus nintendo is for kids Ps2 and Xbox are for fans

Tell you what: how 'bout you actually TRY a GameCube before making obviously uninformed and hype-influenced declarations like "Nintendo is for kids"?

:roll

That's a pretty big generalisation there. Granted there are allot of 'childish' games out on the 'Cube (and some of 'em are quite good), but there are some great grown up games too. I have both the GC and PS2. Both have their merits, and their flaws.

Anyway....This game is the best I've sen an a while. Controls are easy to get used too, the Graphics are top notch, the gameplay is excellent, and the way you have to manipulate your minicon loadout works very well indeed. It's been tweeked in just the right ways since the demo was released. All in all, an excellent game.

And Bootleg Megatron, you could be waiting a while for a GC release of the game. I would rather have gotten a GC version, to escape loading times (which it turns out arn't that bad in this game), but as yet I havent seen it on any Europe, US, or Japanese release lists. :redface

um.. a PS2 is $99, last time I looked.

where and is it new or used, cause I just looked at a few websites and a new still cost $179. Hopefully Sony will announce a price cut at E3.

If ever you have played Metal Gear Solid:the twin snakes, you know that the cube isn't just for kids. So before you judge by the cover, read the book. Have a nice day. :usa

It's been $99 for awhile now. New. Where did you look it up for $179? Was that by itself, or part of a package (console + game(s) or something)?

I have tried a gamecube its horrible the controller is hideous and the overall quality of the games sucks the only game I actually enjoyed was metroid prime. I'm much happier with my Xbox and PS2!!

GC is $99, Xbox just went down to $149 recently, but PS2 is still $179.

Metal Gear Solid:the twin snakes, try that, and you'll change your mind.

I need to pick up this game :) I haven't had a chance to get down to the mall, but I can't wait to play this game :) It sounds like the reviews were positive for the most part
