Now, soundwave just needs to be scrapped and redone. RID Prime... hell, just make a new version and sell both. Make the new one like a year from now to be fair to the fans of the current one, however.

i just don't like the design at all... the white... thing on the top and the space between his head and his torso is just weirdl ooking. it's almostl ike Energon Rodimus again. It just looks out of place. FOr a head sculpt that good, it just looks like it was stuck on the torso. a redesign could fix that.

and yes the energon axe is a tad more iconic IMO

Remember, these are being marketed as "collectibles." Although they'll transform, I don't think they are meant for hardcore "playing" with. I think Hasbro has taken plenty of consideration into the design as to avoid as much chipping and damage as possible. That's why the transformations and designs are not too terribly complicated.

 

No worries I.S.T. Its good to see so many people taking an interest in these figs.

I still say they should take advantage and make use of the molds that are gone...like a g1 wheel jack...sunstreaker...et al...even the ones we didn't get (overlord, deathsaurus)...what I REALLY would like is a decent Galvatron

In my honest opinion Rodimus is one of the first one of these things to get it right. The legs becoming the trailer are a nice piece of inovation and the arms look to completely made of plastic meaning less wieght and more poses. Can't wait to see more pics. :thumb

Hey, does anyone know if these have rubber tires? I haven't seen Prime yet, so I don't know about him, but I'm looking at Rodimus right now and his appear to be painted plastic, which, if true, is disappointing. Unlike many, I think these figures are great, and am really looking forward to them (moreso than the Classics, even), but making them all die-cast and then giving them plastic wheels is/would be a major cop-out.
