you gheybos should keep in mind that these are die-cast and making them RiD Side Burn-style complex would result in losing 50% of the paint in the first week

maybe thats part of thier probem. i know that diecast is thier selling point but maybe they should of kept to the same amout as the THS line with just the large chunks like legs being die cast while the smaller detailed parts are plastic

*head assplodes*

BTW i know that hasbro can't make everyone happy but they sure as hell are trying lately and i know that the fandom will be forever negative about most things but cooooome ooooon how much more g1 esque can they get?  These toys along with the classics are what the g1 fandom has been waiting for.  Now if you aren't a g1 fan per say then say so so we can all understand the reason for your lack of enthusiasm for these awesome toys.

Even so, I don't look at these guys and think "wow they're bricks". If that Rodimus Prime or Scourge were a Classics release I'd still be all over it. OpOp looks awesome too (but I want to see better pictures). I'm just not getting the sense that these designs were really that compromised b/c of the painted metal.

I agree with the point made in the article though; these are really a nice selection of good characters. And they need to stop casually mentioning Beast Machines b/c it gives me blue fanballs

im not saying thier lame as hell and a waste of metal. but after takara gave us 2 awsome THS toys that are also small and diecast a comparison is going to happen. now i was not expecting them to  have the same uber complex transformations as THS convoy but i would of like to see the same sharp details but i look at scourge and rodie and its like some one went over the molds with sand paper to take off all the edges

*will still be buying them since its unlikly hasbro will give us anything better and to say it again roddie is cool*

Well, TakaraTomy seems to be only concerned with making Convoy toys for their special lines and you have to pay more than twice the price for a toy that's half the size of a Titanium. I love the choices, who expected that they'll be using G1 Scourge? I also like the fact that each wave has one Autobot and Decepticon. I love this new line. Not only are they just slightly more expensive then the plastic equivalents in Cybertron and Classics but it really shows that Hasbro truly cares for the fans unlike what a lot of idiots would say otherwise.

not that I think Blitz is saying this

maybe I'm the only person who thinks that THS Convoy is overrated
