MP Starscream color comfirmed

Actually there are significant improvements to the jet mode, particularly along the sides and the bottom of the jet. Considering that these are traditional weak points for jetformers, seeing Takara revisit those sections made me happy.

But only significant to those that are that concerned with reality, a bunch that are as specialist as geewunners (and there's already a line that caters for them).

But I didn't quote you just to say that, I'm actually wondering about something you might be able to answer.

People keep saying the changes are here to make it more realistic, and I get the legs and underside.

But how are the sides more realistic?

Not all F15's have or had those packs on the side, so how is adding them or not changing the realism level?

Also, how is the kibble on the waist (the biggest change of all) making the plane more realistic?

I know that's a retarded question (the last one, the first is genuine) and it doesn't, but I'm sick of every complaint about the changes being met by many with "they obviously wanted to make it more realistic so stfu".

But anyway..... can we pleeeeeeeease move on from this tired line of discussion? It eats my soul to have to read post after post of the same thing over and over again. Okay, we get that Starscream didn't look like this at first, and all that that implies. I think everybody in the fandom gets that by now. Could we talk about something else related to the figure?

Please?

Dude, you're a Stars Wars fan.

That fandom bitched for years about technically superior movies until they got the versions they wanted.

I think you already know the answer.

I suspect this bitchfest might be of a slightly smaller scale than that... NOT that I consider myself to be part of the "online SW fandom" because they're all scary chodes who know too much about Trandoshans and Rodians and Mandalorians and ... oh crap

anyway since you're asking me questions and stuff, I'll answer them:

JLQ: But how are the sides more realistic? Not all F15's have or had those packs on the side, so how is adding them or not changing the realism level?

MHA: it's not so much the packs but the fact that they're not a bunch of funky-looking smooshed-in robot parts. It's a lot smoother on the sides now. It makes it look like more of a professional job. And this is just my opinion, but I think most jetformers' alt modes have unfairly suffered b/c of robot mode stuff. Hell, Leader-1 is a more realistic-looking F-15 than G1 Starscream is, and that's just wrong. So that's why I pay attention to and appreciate the attention to the alt mode. The original G1 cars looked kickass in car mode, but the :Dc jets.... eh sort of

JLQ: Also, how is the kibble on the waist (the biggest change of all) making the plane more realistic?

MHA: taking this as a rhetorical-type frustrated question, as I think you intended..... uh I dunno. I think that was done for the sake of the robot mode, personally. Perhaps the protos kept getting fin damage when he was stood up or something. Who knows.

Ah, that's fair enough. Thanks man. :)

See, we can all get along.

Now I just want them to release the damn thing so we can determine for ourselves whether or not we, individually, like what they have made. I wonder how soon before (or even if, at this point) we see in-package pics.

See, we can all get along.
