grumble at Takara though also

But I think part of the reason I'm okay with the color change is the already discussed-to-death "realism" in the alt mode

And I still fail to see how the proposed colors are any more realistic than the G1 scheme.  Please clue the rest of us in here? :tfhuh

"the rest of us" being "you," I imagine :tflaugh

I say that because the answer should be pretty obvious to anyone with eyes, but you're clearly dissatisfied with the color scheme and it shows. There's nothing I can say to change your mind about that, so why bother.

LOL. @ LMH...that response was priceless.

*did wet himself reading last comment*

MP =/= G1

Seriously!

ya rly

BTW I'd like to mention that any TF fan who looked at MP Starscream and didn't immediately say "hey that's Starscream" sucks at being a fan

meaning that we've got a robot that looks AMAZINGLY like G1 Starscream that transforms into a bona fide F-15.... in all the talk of the differences between MP Starscream and his G1 inspiration, let's not forget all of the many many many many many similarities and directly-copied visual reference points.

hmmm

^ Overcomplicated garbage.

v Simple truth

MP =/= G1

Wow, now you've made you point in bold coloured it text, it carries so much more weight. :roll :P

Except I'm not saying that Masterpiece Starscream is G1 because he's from the Masterpiece line.

I said that Masterpiece Prime IS G1 Prime because his official Takara booklet says so.

He is not the G1 toy, but he is a toy of the character from the show we call G1.

That is not an overcomplification, even children can differentiate between the two.

I also said that all the initial imagery and information sold the Masterpiece Starscream as the same thing.

I finally said that, until the release of the figure and the information in the booklet we can not say with certainty that this is or isn't supposed to be G1 Starscream.

If it is, we're being misslead as the figure is NOT G1.

If it isn't, it's not an issue, but those of us who were sold on the G1 Masterpiece Starscream still want our figure.
