I don't... seriously. I don't want to be an irresponsible half-wit.

£40  :tdown

find something better for them to complain about-shift the focus from toys to...............porn. they wont even worry about the toys anymore.

:tflaugh that does work.

Guys, I need help fast.  My parents don't think that Transformers are a good thing for me to collect at my age (considering I'm turning 21, work part time and still live at their house).

They don't belive that TF Fans can go on to be things outside of computer nerds.  That they don't have normal lives.  They want me to grow up and have a family and a job.  I'm starting this thread to send as an email to both my parents computers, so they can watch and see what kind of people we are outside of Transformers.

So.  If you work in the field of anything, ranging from computers to medicine and stuff, let my folks know.  Also, tell them of stuff like conventions and what not.  They need damning evidence that it's okay to continue with this hobby, and I'm going to do the same thing with my GI Joe buddies on a GI Joe message board.

Please Help.

Thanks in advance to those who are helpful to me.

i hear alot of flack for emos but at least they only hurt themselves not others.

in the real work i am a talented young actor looking to go to university next year to study drama.

a couple of years ago my parents were trying to persudade me i was too old for tfs (16 at the time) but i carried on building my collection.

(granted i have done this without them knowing because i make sure i have the toy about a month before it leaves my room so i can tell them i have had it for ages :P

Atleast we're not Omni-Modding the UK... or Maryland. :grr

The bills are being dealt with, that's all I can say about that.  Careful planning and not going into a panic helps.

£40 is a fair bit for a TF, I've no idea if he's any good, I've not heard many comments about the Cyb Megs mold.  Guess I'll find out.

I've sorted my budget out, so getting TF's and managing the bills is getting to be very easy.  As long as I don't go doing anything to cause problems.  I refuse to ask my parents for help, I prefer to manage it by myself.  Even when I badly need their help, I still don't ask them.  That's also part of their accepting the collection, if they hated it and got at me about it, they know I'll tell them where to shove it and I'll collect if I want to.  I respect my parents and all that, they did raise me to be independent and think for myself, so it's not up to them if I collect TF's, it's up to me.

So collect if you want to collect, one day you might get married, have kids and have a home and a family to look after and TF's might just become little more than some dusty toys in an attic.  To be honest, I rather like the sound of that.
