I got to hold him in my hands today at the local comic shop, Ironic. He joins the TFCC to get him and succeeds at the moment it all started... He was MISB and is gonna stay that way, but I got to see that his carmode's plastic was in good quality. Shame. Because I've already settled on not getting him. Its no big loss, no small one either. but like I said "Scalper's have plenty, fans get a little"

After calling HTS yesterday to find out my order status. I was told that they where still deciding what to do with all of the phone orders... WTF is with that? Think it may be a high enough demand for this that the phone orders alone could equal profitable for another production run to fill them????

I'm hoping he upshot is this gets their attention and they freaking make more available to one and all.

My little scheming brain thought of something. Since I called HTS yesterday to find out about my Nemesis Prime order, and they told me they don't have an answer yet. Could that be because they are balancing cost to profit off of the phone orders to decide if a second production run on these could be profitable????

you're thinking about it too hard.

 

a) they didn't get their shipment so nothing was there to sell (for all we know, they got nabbed by pirates - yes real pirates - they still exist in asian waters.)

b) they are awaiting a fresh shipment

c) when and if they get a fresh shipment, phone orders will be honored immediately

d) the call center is privately run and NOT a hasbro office - think outsourcing - it's very common these days

e) Hasbro does know they messed up - they are attempting to fix the problem

f) The SDCC items are back up on the site, but listed as sold-out. Chances are there will be another wave - or few...it wouldn't surprise me if they release multiple waves on the site in efforts to get their profits up. In the end, you won't be able to spit without hitting a nemesis prime and by said prospect, scalpers will cry.

 

Anything the callcenter says should not be regarded as FACT.

Hasbro announced the shipment didn't arrive and well, after getting hundreds of miffed fans to email them, they probably are attempting to fix the problem. nuff said.

I just received a confirmation email from hasbro toy shop for my nemesis prime order. :clap

 

Hopefully that means there's a light at the end of the tunnel

I heard about that too from TFw2005. We'll see what happens. I made a legit call stating my internet was down. I only ordered 1. In the meantime I'm just abivilant on the matter. I don't get, so what? I get, woot.
